The 91ԭ�� 4-H Club met on March 6th and, after a short business meeting, worked in the school garden, preparing raised beds and planting seeds and onion sets. The garden will be an ongoing 4-H Club project.Members who are interested in helping maintain the garden may talk to Mrs. Cunyus.

High School Track Meet

Our high school track and field team began their season with a meet at Bishop Gorman on February 23. The men’s 4×100 relay team came home with medals for 1st place; and Junior, Wyatt Anderson placed 2nd in the 110 Hurdles. The men’s relay team members are Abel Ketchen, Caleb Beauregard, Jonah Shipp, and Jake Hancock. Caleb also came in 4th in the 800 meters. Wyatt came in 4th in the 300 hurdles. Jake came in 6th in the 400 meters.

Middle School Track Meet

91ԭ�� kicked off its 2024 middle school track and field season with a meet at Bishop Gorman on February 26 in Tyler. 91ԭ�� had 16 athletes compete with excellent results, earning medals for 1st -3rd place. Raeleigh Robinson came in 1st in the 400 meters, 1st in the high jump, 3rd place in the long jump, and 4th in the 100 meters. Raeden Parr came in 1st in the 800 meters. Beckham King came in 1st in the mile and mile and a half. Chase Holloway placed 3rd in the discus, and Filipp Liapin placed 2nd in discus and 4th in shot put. Garrett Kidd placed 4th in the high jump, and Jesse Vermillion came in 4th in the mile and a half. Their next meet is on March 18. Thanks go to our middle school head track coach, Lori Cotten!
