We are excited to announce Mrs. Shannon Henry will be returning to the faculty next year to teach precalculus! Shannon and her husband, John, are founding members of the school, and John serves as the board鈥檚 secretary. Shannon taught at the school from 2002 to 2021, but she is now retired from full-time teaching and is working part-time with John as a bookkeeper for his water utilities management company, DMC Water Works. Shannon is a graduate of Nacogdoches High School and earned her Bachelor鈥檚 of Science from Stephen F. Austin State University. She taught a variety of classes throughout the early years of 91原创, including grammar, Latin, logic, and P. E., but her primary focus in more recent years was high school science and mathematics. She has three sons, David, Mitchell, and Caleb, each of whom has graduated from 91原创. David is married to Andrea and has one son, Calvin, who attends 91原创 and will be in 4th grade in the fall. Nothing brings Shannon more joy than to have all her kids gathered around the dining table enjoying each other鈥檚 company.
